Academic Services and Support - Academic Technology

Our Mission

To provide to the BCC community appropriate academic technology services and online resources including distance learning applications. 

 

 

          

 Our Goals

  • Encourage and facilitate the use of academic technology in education through teaching, modeling and development of technologies.
  • Provide support and training for faculty members integrating technology into course offerings, and for students using technology for assignments, research and assessments.
  • Apply appropriate technology to meet the goals and objectives of the BCC community while creating the opportunity for growth and change as it pertains to pedagogical practice.
  • Provide BCC faculty members with the support they need to provide students with greater access to higher education via distance learning.

The Academic Technology department works in conjunction with the Academic Technology Advisory Committee (ATACom) to best provide BCC's Faculty, Staff and Students with technology needs for teaching and learning.
