The Follett College Store is located adjacent to the student lounge. The College Store primarily serves as an outlet for textbooks and materials needed for BCC day and evening classes. The general telephone is (413) 236-3065.
Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
During the first week of the fall and spring semesters, hours are extended to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Hours are also extended to 6:00 PM during the first two nights of the second summer session.
The College Store offers a number of services to students, faculty, and staff. In addition to required textbooks, the store sells a wide variety of other items including art supplies, clothing, candy, novelties, office supplies, reference books, and health products. Postage stamps and all kinds of BCC insignia items are also available.
Financial aid recipients who have remaining funds after tuition and fees are covered may charge books and essential supplies against their remaining balance during the week prior to the start of classes and the first three weeks of the semester. (More info below.)
Students can sell their textbooks back to a buyer during the final exam week of the fall and spring semesters, once during the summer, and during the opening days of the fall and spring semesters. (More info below.)

The extended hours are from 8 to 6 and the return policy is 48 hours with receipt. Hours are extended (8am - 6pm) at the beginning of each Semester. Contact the College Store for dates and times.
Textbooks are returnable for full refund within the first two weeks of each semester, until the last day of add/drop. Returns for refund MUST be accompanied by the receipt. Refunds will only be made to the original method of payment. New texts MUST be in new, resalable condition (ie. no marks on pages, no scratched or bent covers, pages, or spines, unopened if shrink-wrapped). Textbooks that have been damaged or written in and accompanied by a register receipt within the fifteen day period may be refunded at 50% of purchase price depending upon the condition of the book and whether or not it can be resold. The College Store will determine the saleable condition and refund status of all textbooks. If a textbook is purchased after the add/drop period, the text is returnable within 2 business days.

Financial Aid Charging Period
Eligible students will be allowed to charge books and supplies against their Financial Aid awards one week prior to the semester opening and during the first three weeks of classes. There will be NO charges allowed beyond the closing date.
