BCC to Host an At-Large City Council Forum

Berkshire Community College will host an at-large city council forum Monday at 7 PM. The free event will take place in the Boland Theatre. Pittsfield Community Television will provide a live telecast and webcast.

Seven official candidates - Melissa Mazzeo, Kevin Sherman, Nicholas Caccamo, Barry Clairmont, Churchill Cotton, Anthony Maffuccio and Rick Scapin - are competing for four at-large seats in the November 8th municipal election. Shawn Serre, coordinator of PCTV's education channel, will serve as
moderator. The forum is part of a series sponsored by BCC, PCTV and The Pittsfield Gazette.

The series continues October 24 with ward council and mayoral debates.
