WHO:  Berkshire Community College (BCC) will host an Energy Forum with Commissioner David Cash of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities along with BCC President Ellen Kennedy andPresident/CEO of The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce Mike Supranowicz.

WHAT:  An Energy Forum during which Commissioner Cash will discuss the natural gas boom, electricity rates, how rates are changing and how the state's energy efficiency and renewable energy programs will help mitigate high energy costs and volatility. The event is free and open to the public.

WHERE:  Room H219 - Hawthorne Building, BCC's Main Campus, 1350 West St., Pittsfield.

WHEN:  Thursday, Feb. 7, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (includes an optional tour of BCC's newly renovated Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Center, Greenhouse, and Sustainable Energy Center).
