BCC to Host Free Seminar about the Emerald Ash
Borer
and the Future of Ash in Berkshire County

WHO: Berkshire Community College will host a seminar by the Massachusetts Department of
Conversation and Recreation's (DCR) Service Forestry Program and the Massachusetts Forest Alliance-Tree Farm Program.

WHAT: The free seminar will provide a comprehensive look at the emerald ash borer, its expected
impact on Berkshire County, and how to deal with this destructive pest in the wake of its arrival.

The event will include presentations from representatives from the Massachusetts DCR, the USDA Forest Service, among others. A Q & A session will follow.

WHEN:  Wed., June 19 from 5 to 8 p.m.

WHERE: BCC's Main Campus at 1350 West Street in Pittsfield - The Koussevitsky Arts Center, Room 111.
