TRIO

The TRIO program is a federally funded program designed to provide free support services to eligible students. Students may be eligible for TRIO if they meet one or more of the following criteria:

♦	Neither parent graduated from a four-year college
♦	They receive financial aid
♦	Have a documented disability

Once accepted into the TRIO program, the TRIO staff will work one-on-one with students to develop a personalized educational plan designed to guide students toward the successful completion of their course of study.

The TRIO staff is well aware of the challenges students face while attending college. Work, family responsibilities and academic challenges may feel overwhelming at first. In TRIO, we will help you to improve your grades, stay in school, transfer to a four year college, receive your certificate or Associate Degree, or transition to your career.
