We will also talk about some common hang-ups, frustrations, and concerns that student writers sometimes experience... and will discuss some ways to deal with them.
3/14/2013	The Writing Process II	Julianna Spallholz	M-102	1:30 - 2:15	A continuation of The Writing Process l, in this workshop we will talk about some common hang-ups, frustrations, and concerns that student writers sometimes experience... and will discuss some ways to deal with them. A writing exercise may be included. (Previous attendance at The Writing Process l is not required for this workshop.)
3/28/2013	Common Problems	Julianna Spallholz	M-102	1:30 - 2:15	In this workshop we will look at some nitty-gritty mechanical aspects of writinig with particular attention paid to some of the errors that writers make.
4/4/2013	Argumentative Writing	Julianna Spallholz	M-102	1:30 - 2:15	In this workshop we will discuss the qualities of successful argumentative writing, with particular attention paid to thesis development, use of supporting evidence, and coherent organizations
4/18/2013	The Research Process	Julianna Spallholz	M-102	1:30 - 2:15	In this workshop we will discuss good research strategies, thesis development, and use of sources. We will talk about some ways to effectively use the tools provided for us at the Johnathan Edwards library.
4/25/2013	Citing Sources	Julianna Spallholz	M-102	1:30 - 2:15	In this workshop we will discuss what it means to cite sources, and when and how you should do it. (Our discussion wiil assume that writers are working in MLA format. If you don't know what that means, come anyway and find out!)
