  • Registration Options

    Online Registration

    To register for a workshop, visit www.berkshirecc.edu/workshops

    In-Person Registration

    • In Pittsfield, you may register in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with the Office of Community Education/Workforce Development located on the First Floor of the Conte Federal Building on the corner of Center Street and Columbus Avenue.
    • In Great Barrington, you may register at the South County Center, 343 Main Street, on Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or during special evening hours until 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 27.

    Mail Registration

    You may register by filling out the registration form and by mailing it to Office of Community Education/Workforce Development, Berkshire Community College, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Be sure to include your check or charge account number (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa). Do not send cash through the mail. We will confirm your registration by return mail.

    Phone Registration

    Telephone registrations may be made Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM by calling the Office of Community Education/Workforce Development at 413-236-2127 or 800-816-1233 (in Mass. only), Ext. 2127. Calls may also be made to the South County Center at 413-528-4521; or 800-816-1233, Ext. 5202. Phone registrations require an American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa number.

    All workshops have minimum and maximum limits. Some fill quickly and close. Others may be canceled due to low enrollment. (These cancellations are usually made about one week before a workshop begins.) So, don't wait. As soon as you find what you want, simply follow one of our convenient registration procedures.

  • Fees, Discounts, and Refunds

    Workshop Fees

    The fee for each workshop is listed in the workshop descriptions. Please note that some workshops charge an additional fee for materials provided in class. Others require that you purchase and bring the materials (e.g., textbook) with you. These fees are not a part of your registration fee and should not be included in your payment when registering by mail, fax or telephone.

    Senior Citizen Discount

    Senior citizens (age 60 and up) who are permanent legal residents of Massachusetts are offered a 20% discount for workshops except for Travel/Study and as noted individually. 

    To receive a discount, notify the person taking your registration. You may register in person, by mail, or fax. If you wish to register by mail or fax, please indicate on the registration form that you are a senior citizen.

    Refund Policy

    If you withdraw from a workshop at least one week before the first meeting, you will receive a 100% refund less a $15 processing fee. No refund is given for withdrawals made less than one week before the course starts. If BCC cancels a workshop, you receive a 100% refund of all fees. Please allow at least 3 weeks for processing refunds.
