A one semester course designed for students who will study calculus . Topics include functions, transformations, inverses, and families of functions including polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric . Trigonometric identities and the conic sections are also covered . This course emphasizes graphs of functions and problem solving using trigonometry, analytic geometry and advanced algebra .Skills prerequisite: ENG 020.
Prerequisite: MAT 102 or MAT 102C or by learning skills assessment placement.
