Financial Resources
BCC has $3 million available to help students like
you! Half of all BCC students receive financial assistance to pay
their tuition bill. Many even get help with living expenses. More
would get aid if they applied for it because nearly everyone is
eligible for some form of aid, including loans.
Grants, waivers, and scholarships provide free monies
that can be applied to college expenses and do not have to be repaid.
The Federal Work-Study
program provides part-time jobs so you can earn while you learn
and use your paychecks to cover living expenses and college costs.
The added benefit of this program is the opportunity to gain work
experience and references.
Federal student
loans provide low interest loans to help meet expenses related
to enrollment in college. You must begin repaying these loans six
months after graduating or dropping below six credits.
Both day and evening, full- and part-time, students
are eligible to apply for aid. Students can get financial aid without
being eligible for a Federal Pell
Grant.
