Variety of Scholarships Available for Current, Incoming and Graduating StudentsStudent Receiving Scholarship at Awards Night

The Berkshire Community College (BCC) Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for students entering the college, returning for continued study, or graduating and transferring from BCC.

More than 160 scholarships valued at $300,000 are available. Awards range from $250 to full tuition and fees and are based on academic merit and financial need. Many scholarships place importance on community service, specific career goals and individual characteristics.

Students currently enrolled at BCC must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and be enrolled in a degree or certificate program. To apply, students must complete the general online application which includes one 300-500 word essay and a section to submit a request for a reference to a faculty member, advisor or employer.

The deadline for current BCC students returning to the institution in the fall or graduating and transferring is March 2, 2015.

All students planning on attending BCC in the fall who have maintained satisfactory academic progress are also encouraged to apply. As part of the application, students are required to submit an essay about their academic and career goals, acquire a recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor or employer and submit their transcript.

The deadline for incoming BCC students is April 17, 2015.
