The Registrar's Office maintains official academic records (see Transcripts) for each past and present BCC student. Student records are maintained in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA, also known as the Buckley Amendment). For details on student files and policies insuring their privacy, see "Confidentiality of Student Records." Students who wish to have an official transcript of their record sent to another academic institution or prospective employer must make their request in writing to this office. There is a three dollar ($3) charge for this service.
Also, students can register for classes, drop or add courses, and file graduation application forms in this office. Information about FORUM and Core Competencies Portfolio is also available.
