Zaha

This is a photograph taken by a male professional photographer of Zaha Hadid, an Iraqi architect.  Zaha is 58 years old.  She holds degrees in mathematics and architecture, and worked with some of the top people in the field, before she opened her own practice in London.  She is know for radical architectural designs which feature fluid, daring and almost liquid forms.

In 2006 she was honored by the Guggenheim Museum in New York.  Forbes Magazine ranks her in its list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women.   She is currently Professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria.
