BCC To Host Debates for Third and Fourth Berkshire Districts

Berkshire Community College, in collaboration with the Pittsfield Gazette and Pittsfield Community Television, will host the following debates Monday evening, October 18, in K111 on BCC's main campus. Seating is first come, first serve and voters are invited to both debates.

Incumbent Democrat William "Smitty" Pignatelli and Lee Scott Laugenour, of the Green/Rainbow party, each vying for the position of Fourth Berkshire State Representative, will begin their debate at 6:00 PM.

Beginning at 7:00 PM, the debate for the Third Berkshire District seat will occur between Democratic incumbent Christopher Speranzo and Green/Rainbow party candidate Mark C. Miller.

David Cachat, coordinator of PCTV's CityLink, will moderate the both debates.  

The public is invited to watch the events, either in person at BCC or via live telecasts on CityLink, the government channel of PCTV, or streaming at www.pittsfieldtv.org. The event will also be rebroadcast on PCTV several times prior to the November 2nd elections.
