BCC Announces December Forums

The public is invited to attend the following free Forum events on the main campus of Berkshire Community College (BCC). Except as noted, all events are from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM in room K-111 of the college's Koussevitzky Arts Center.

Thursday, December 1 - BCC Alumni Presentation: Criminal Justice

A panel discussion by BCC Alumni, addresses current hot topics, how they respond to challenging issues within their fields of law enforcement, corrections, court and counseling careers.

Tuesday, December 6 - PBS Frontline Documentary: The Medicated Child

With over four million children now on behavior modifying medications, some starting as young as two years old, FRONTLINE investigates the controversial practice of medicating kids. Are the drugs safe? How young can you detect mental illness in a child? Is medication really the answer? As the debate grows more intense, FRONTLINE investigates the risks and benefits of prescription drugs for troubled children.

Thursday, December 15 - Holiday Concert

Join the BCC Chorale, directed by Ellen Shanahan, student soloists, and Dance I/II members, directed by Andrea Borak, in a holiday celebration through song and dance. Boland Theatre
