National Recording Artist Brett Eldredge to Perform at BCC

One of country music's newest stars, Brett Eldredge, is performing at BCC's Boland Theatre on Friday, March 30th at 7 PM and the public is invited. Local favorites, Whiskey City, will open the show. The concert is presented by GoodWorks Insurance and proceeds from the performance benefit the BCC Foundation.

Brett's widely known hit "Raymond" was nominated for Best Music Video by a New Artist at the American Country Awards, a show entirely voted on by fans, this past December. The song is the poignant tale of a nursing home employee mistaken by a patient with Alzheimer's for her deceased son, who was killed at war. It is a song whose inspiring reaffirmation of their mutual humanity has affecting listeners deeply. He also appeared at the WGNA Countryfest 2011 held at the Altamont Fairgrounds in July.

Show openers, Whiskey City, consists of six members of Berkshire County musicians all with a total of 20 years of touring and performance experience. The group recentely released their debut CD "CONCRETE RODEO" with twelve originals and are performing throughout the Northeast.

General reserved seats are $25 per person and preferred seating is $35 per person. Premium tickets are priced at $50 and include VIP seating, a "Meet & Greet" before the show, and complimentary beer, wine and refreshments.

The lobby opens at 5:30 PM. Beer and wine will be sold Kelly's Package Store in the lobby.
