The public is invited to attend the following free Forum events on the main campus of Berkshire Community College (BCC). Except as noted, all events are from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM in room K-111 of the college's Koussevitzky Arts Center.

Bullying: Not a Rite of Passage
A discussion and reading on how to creatively interrupt and prevent bullying right here, right now. Presenters, Magdalena Gómez and María Luisa Arroyo are the co-editors of the new ground-breaking book: Bullying: Replies, Rebuttals, Confessions and Catharsis, the first multicultural and intergenerational book on the subject of bullying. Books will be available for sale and signing by the editors. Sponsored by the Committee for Diversity.

Currently and formerly homeless individuals will share their life stories. Speakers with diverse backgrounds and life experiences provide a glimpse into the challenges of homelessness and the stability that comes with a place to call home. All of them exemplify resourcefulness, perseverance and strength in a society where housing is not a guarantee for anyone. Sponsored by the Committee for Diversity.
