BCC Announces December Forums

The public is invited to attend the following free Forum events on the main campus of Berkshire Community College (BCC). Except as noted, all events are from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM in room K-111 of the college's Koussevitzky Arts Center.

Tuesday, December 4
Panel Discussion: Liberal Arts in the Future - Your Future in Liberal Arts
BCC alumni Kelly Marion, Raymond Gargan and Rob Putnam discuss the relevance of Liberal Arts for 21st century students. Co-sponsored by Alumni Affairs and the Liberal Arts Program.

Diversity Film Series: A Better Life
Carlos (Oscar-nominated Demián Bichir) is an undocumented Mexican gardener trying to provide for his son, and keep him out of the kind of trouble that hangs around every corner of his neighborhood in East L.A. This is a timely film as the rhetoric on immigration policies and practices heats up. Directed by Chris Weitz (The Twilight Saga: New Moon, American Pie, and About a Boy). 6:30 PM. Sponsored by the Committee for Diversity.
