BCC’s Young Concert Series to Feature Michael Wartella

WHO:            
Berkshire Community College's (BCC) Young Artist Series, funded by the Berkshire Bank Foundation.
 

WHAT:

A concert and Q&A with Michael Wartella, a performing artist originally from the Berkshires. Wartella has performed in numerous broadway, off-broadway and touring productions including:  Wicked, Rent, A Midsummer Night's Dream, among others. He will be accompanied by another Berkshire talent, Carlton Maaia II, who will be joined by Berkshire bassist Alex Hayes. 

 

Earlier in the day, Wartella and Maaia will conduct a free 3 p.m. master class for area high school and
college students
.


While the class is almost full, those interested in participating can contact Ellen Shanahan at eshanahan@berkshirecc.edu to be added to the waiting list.  Anyone is invited to come to watch and
learn.

 

WHEN:         
Thurs., June 6. Master Class - 3 p.m. Concert - 7 p.m. (doors will open at 6:30 p.m.) 
 

WHERE:       
Both the master class and concert will take place in BCC's Boland Theatre located on the main campus at 1350 West Street, Pittsfield.
