Fundraising, Understanding Behavior & Confidence Building Workshops at SCC

Berkshire Community College's (BCC) South County Center is offering a variety of fall workshops. Topics include: fundraising, understanding behavior and confidence building.

"How Behavior Impacts Management, Impacts Performance" (WKS-2514) will teach participants the pattern of behavior which follows us throughout our life and explains why people do what they do. This pattern forms the basis for a proven management system that impacts quantity, quality, timeliness and cost. Class will meet
on Wed., Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to Noon.
Registration is $30.

"Heroine's Journey: Stepping Into Life with Clarity, Confidence and Courage" (WKS-1343) is a new workshop for women who want to learn practical and powerful tools to take the next steps towards fulfilling personal and professional dreams. Class meets on Sat., Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to Noon. The cost is $35.

"Fundraising as a Volunteer" (WKS-1180) is a new workshop geared toward board or volunteer committee members who are expected to raise funds, but aren't quite sure how to get started. Discussion will include the formula for a successful special event, how to think strategically about time and resources and how to brainstorm new ideas. Class meets on Thurs., Oct. 3 to Nov. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is $120.
