Feb 20, 2014
Berkshire Community College is now accepting applications for the college's associate degree in nursing (ADN) program. The deadline to apply is March 3.

In order to be considered for the ADN program, students must submit an application along with an official high school transcript or GED as well as any official transcripts from any previous colleges they have attended. In addition, applicants are also required to submit a matriculation form, which is found on the college's website at www.berkshirecc.edu/ADN

Nursing combines science and the art of working with people and offers diversity in roles and settings, a wide range of career paths and employment opportunities and competitive salaries.

BCC's nursing program is a sequence of lecture, laboratory and clinical courses. Graduates are eligible to take the licensing examination to become registered nurses (RNs). Graduates often go onto employment at regional hospitals and long-term care facilities, BCC graduates consistently exceed pass rates for community colleges in both state exams and National Council Licensure Examinations (NCLEX).
