BCC Opens Berkshire Honors Scholar Center

Following a recent grand opening ceremony, students in the Honors Program at Berkshire Community College now have a place on BCC's main campus they can call their own.

Located in Hawthorne Hall, Room 237, the new Berkshire Honors Scholar Center provides a private sanctuary where the student scholars can study or relax.

According to Stacy Evans, honors program coordinator, the Center puts BCC one step closer to becoming part of the Commonwealth Honors Program, which allows students to  transfer seamlessly to any Commonwealth Honors Program at any other state institution including UMass Amherst.
