BCC Recognizes Associate Degree Nursing Graduates

The 40th pinning ceremony for graduates of Berkshire Community College's associate degree in nursing (ADN) program was celebrated Tuesday evening, May 26, in the College's Robert Boland Theatre of the Koussevitzky Arts Center. Susan Downey Luhrmann, RN, ANP/C, an adult nurse practitioner who works for Berkshire Health Systems Kidney Disease Clinic as a Clinic Supervisor, and a BCC alumni, addressed the students.

The ceremony, sponsored by BCC's Student Nurse Organization, honored the following graduating students:

Nine of the graduates are Berkshire Health System-supported employees and two graduates are Berkshire Healthcare-supported employees. In addition, nine LPNs took advantage of the ability to enter the nursing program in the second year.
