Vendors and Exhibitors are welcome to sell and display orchids, succulents, bromeliads, bonsai, and other tropicals with related materials.

 

Please complete this registration form to register as an exhibitor or a vendor/exhibitor and mail it with your check to the BCC Foundation, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, MA  01201.  Retain the second page of important dates and guidelines for your information.  Forms can be emailed to aphillips@berkshirecc.edu.  Call the Foundation at 413-236-2185 to charge by credit card.

EXHIBITORS  (please check)     $35 if electricity is required only

If you require electrical access, there is a $35 charge to cover the cost of running the box to your booth.  You will be assigned a standard 10’ by 12’ booth space with a standard 8’ table.  Displays will be “ribbon-judged” by a group of faculty and students led by an expert volunteer judge.

We have limited availability for show-themed vendors in 2014.  You will be assigned a 10’ by 10’ vending space with an 8 ft. table.  We ask that vendors also set up a display in the exhibit area (please complete above).

EXHIBITOR AND VENDOR INFORMATION

 

Exhibit booths will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until the event is full or October 3rd.

 

We are screening vendor applications to be sure there is not too much duplication and so that the show is worthwhile to all vendors.

 

Please provide an item or two for our raffle.  Raffle proceeds benefit BCC’s greenhouse and the other show proceeds benefit the entire college through the Foundation’s Annual Fund.

 

Setup and Breakdown

  • Setup of exhibit and vendor areas begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.  All exhibit displays should be setup by Friday at 3:00 p.m.

  • Vending areas should be ready for Preview Party sales beginning Friday at 5 p.m.

  • Breakdown will begin promptly at 4 p.m. on Sunday.  Volunteers will be available to help with both loading-in and loading-out.

  • Paterson Field House will be open one hour before the show opens on both Saturday and Sunday.

  • Let us know if you have special needs and we’ll do all we can to accommodate you.

    Preview Party

  • All exhibitors and vendors will be given 2 complimentary passes to the Friday Night preview party.  This is a key part of the fundraising event with a wine tasting, silent auction, and the first peek at your exhibits.  Please invite your friends to join you!

  • Preview Party guests look forward to getting the first crack at sales, so while vending that night is optional, we hope you will plan to be open.

     

    Judging

  • A plant classification form and plant slips will be distributed to all exhibitors in early October.  Please complete the form so the judges know what plants are where.  You can use our plant slip template or create your own but plants must be labeled.

  • Ribbon judging will be Friday afternoon and during the Preview Party as needed.

  • Show attendees on Friday night and Saturday will be given the opportunity to choose their favorite display and the winner will receive the “People’s Choice” award.

     

    This and That

  • Free Wi-Fi is available throughout BCC’s campus.

  • The show will go on rain or shine.  We cannot refund vendor fees paid.

  • A vendor hospitality area will be available throughout the weekend with beverages and light breakfast and lunch items.  BCC’s culinary students will also run a light concession.  Feel free to bring coolers and let us know if you have any special needs.
