Rosenfeld Injury Lawyers' Single Mother's Scholarship

  • Must be a mother who is attending school
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of a min. 3.0
  • Awarding two scholarships to single mothers - one enrolled in a US under-graduate program and one enrolled in law school. 
  • Applicants should submit a 500 word essay detailing how motherhood has prepared them for the challenges they encounter in school.
  • Award Amount: $1,000

The F.C. Tucker Scholarship

  • For any student who demonstrated the values and principles of a successful business
  • Students must demonstrate their personal values through an essay and attached personal statement
  • Topic of the essay: "How would your completed degree help you make a contribution to keeping US business viable and competitive in a global economy?"
  • Award Amount: $1,500
  • Deadline: December 15, 2014
  • Conditions of Award: If any other funds pay entirely the tuition, fees, and books for the student's 2014-2015 academic year, the student is not eligible to receive this scholarship and must return the award to F.C. Tucker Company, Inc.

Northern Berkshire Business and Professional Women's Margaret E. Lanoue Memorial Scholarship

  • The applicant must be a women 25 years of age or older
  • She must be a legal citizen of the U.S. and resident of the Northern Berkshire area including Pownal and Stamford Vermont for the past 2 years.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited institution and have GPA of 3.0
  • Award Amount: $500

  • In-Home Care Innovation Scholarship: “Home Health Care for Seniors” Three $1,500 scholarships available to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. (Annually)

VA Fry Scholarship to Surviving Spouses of Service Members Who Died on Active Duty

  • Washington, DC – The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced it will begin accepting applications by mail on Monday, November 3, 2014, for the Fry Scholarship under newly expanded eligibility criteria to include surviving spouses.
  • The Fry Scholarship was created to honor Sergeant John David Fry, 28, of Lorena, Texas.
  • The Fry Scholarship will entitle eligible spouses to up to 36 months of the full, 100-percent level of the Post-9/11 GI Bill, which includes a tuition-and-fee payment, a monthly housing allowance and stipend for books and supplies.

U.S. Army Women's Foundation Legacy Scholarships

  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: January 15, 2015
  • Must be a women who has served or is serving in the U.S. Army.
  • Must be a high school graduate with a 2.5 GPA or GED and/or must be currently enrolled in an accredited community college.
  • Online Google application form is required and must be submitted online.
  • The application requires a short essay. Specifically address how the Army has impacted your life and/or goals
  • An official transcript from college or high school is required.

David L. Boren Scholarship and Fellowships sponsored by the National Security Education Program (NSEP)

  • Opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests
  • Applicants must be able to complete Boren-funded programs before graduation

  • Must be a resident of Western MA, Central MA, Norfolk Country, MA, or the state of Connecticut (student or school that you’re attending)
  • All Big Y employees are eligible regardless of their residency

State University College Scholarship

The Scholarship for Tomorrow’s Entrepreneur

  • Applicant must be graduating High School’s Senior Class in 2014 or currently enrolled in a college of business with a 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Applicant must demonstrate high ambition and desire to be an entrepreneur or business owner and must have a major in the college of Business
  • Funds must be used for full-time enrollment at accredited two or four-year college, university, vocational or technical school in the U.S.
  • Deadline: February 28, 2015. (The entry period on November 1st, 2014. Scholarship winner will be announced May 30th, 2015)

The Chicago Injury Center is proud Scholarships for disabled US Veterans

  • Award Amount: $250 - $1000
  • Deadline: June 1, 2015
  • Applicants should write a 500+ word essay discussing the unique challenges they have faced as a disabled veteran and how their experiences have prepared them to overcome the challenges they will see as students.
