The public is invited to attend the following free Forum events on the main campus of Berkshire Community College (BCC). Except as noted, all events are from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM in room K-111 of the college's Koussevitzky Arts Center.
Tuesday, Oct. 4: "Navigation" - Artist Vicky Tomayko discusses the natural pathways in art through drawing, printmaking, and fabric sculpture.
Thursday, Oct. 6 "Breaking the Cycle of Domestic Violence" - The Berkshire Violence Center, a collaborative with the Elizabeth Freeman Center, will discuss what we can do to eliminate violence against women.
Tuesday, Oct. 11: "National Coming-Out Day Forum"
Thursday, Oct. 13: ‘Film - The Truth about Suicide; Real Stories of Depression in College" - A discussion will follow with members of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Monday, Oct. 24: "Having Been There Matters" - Professor Christopher Pyle of Mount Holyoke College will speak about America's intelligence gathering agencies. 12:00 PM -1:00 PM, Hawthorne Hall, Room 219.
Thursday, Oct. 27: "Building a Bridge from College to Career" - Explores the journey from student to professional with young professionals living and working in Berkshire County.
