Adult Learning Program - SCC - 343 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA

The Adult Learning Program provides high school equivalency preparation classes, as well as three levels of conversational and career English classes for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Assessment and Testing Center - MC - Room K-213 - Koussevitzky Arts Center -  2nd floor
The Assessment and Testing Center, located off the small lobby that connects to the Field Administration Building, administers the Learning Skills Assessment required of most incoming BCC students. The center also serves as the Berkshire County test administration site for the Massachusetts Affirmative High School Credential, CLEP, and DANTES testing programs. The BCC Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to encourage and receive gifts in support of the mission of the college. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) provides faculty and staff professional development programs on pedagogy, technology, and other higher education topics. CTL activities include in-service workshops, professional development days, new faculty orientation, summer institutes, travel grants, special projects and guest speakers. College Store - MC - Room A-102 - Susan B. Anthony Student Center -  lower level

The College Store offer a number of services to students, faculty and staff. In addition to required textbooks, the store sells a wide variety student supplies, college apparel, reference books, health products, postage stamps and more. Community Education Office - ITC - Columbus Avenue - Downtown Pittsfield - 2nd floor

BCC's office of Community Education develops, coordinates and implements non-credit initiatives. The center, suitably located in Downtown Pittsfield, includes four classrooms featuring interactive white boards, a computer lab and Wi-Fi Access, a student lounge, and a community conference room. In addition to most of the college's executive and other administrative offices, the Field Administration Center houses the: Academic Advising Center, Admissions Office, Computer Laboratories, Financial Aid Office, IT Help Desk, Registrar's Office, Student Accounts Office, Student Success Center, and the Trio Office & Learning Center.

The Paterson Fitness Center is a fully-equipped exercise and strength training facility. The center is open to BCC students, faculty and staff at no cost. The general public is charged a minimal fee. This office maintains the official BCC Immunization Requirement Form that students must complete and turn in before the first day of classes. Intermodal Education Center - One Columbus Avenue - Downtown Pittsfield

Conveniently accessible in downtown Pittsfield, the Intermodal Education Center is located on the second floor of the BRTA Intermodal Transportation Center on the corner of North Street and Columbus Avenue. The facility, which is used by both Berkshire Community College and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, includes a multi-media classroom, computer laboratory, testing center, and administrative offices. The IT Help Desk provides first-level technical support to all faculty, staff and students of BCC. Jonathan Edwards Library - Main Campus
The Jonathan Edwards Library welcomes the BCC community and members of the general public. It provides information resources, services, and equipment as well as a pleasant environment for research, study, tutoring, and quiet relaxation. Koussevitzky Art Gallery - MC - Koussevitzky Arts Center - Theatre Lobby
The Koussevitzky Art Gallery, which is open to the public, offers exhibits by professional artists from the United States and abroad. Several shows are mounted each semester. Language Laboratory - MC - Room M-112 - Melville Hall  - 1st floor

The Language Laboratory is an important resource for the BCC community. You can access the Internet, take advantage of computer assisted instruction, watch videos, films, and television, read magazines and books, sharpen listening and speaking skills, and consult with instructors and peers in your language(s) of choice. Nature Trail - MC - Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center

The John Lambert Nature Trail, located behind the Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center, the nature trail wanders through open fields and woodlands. Numbered posts along the way indicate points of natural significance. 

Norman Rockwell Early Childhood Center - MC - Room A-G12 - Susan B. Anthony Student Center - lower level

Child care at BCC is available at the Norman Rockwell Early Childhood Center, so named because of the artist’s sensitive portrayal of the world of children. The center is open to the public, however, priority is given to children of BCC students, faculty and staff. North County Classes - OC - Charles H. McCann Vocational Technical High School - North Adams, MA
To better serve students who live or work in northern Berkshire county or southern Vermont, BCC offers classes during the spring and fall semesters at the Charles H. McCann Vocational Technical High School in North Adams. Paterson Field House - Main Campus (south)
The Paterson Field House maintains a basketball court for indoor activities, as well as several soccer fields, 5K cross-country course, a fitness center, summer pool and tennis courts. Project Link Office - MC - Room H-208A - Hawthorne Hall - 2nd floor
Project Link prepares Massachusetts High School Equivalency Credential (GED) Holders and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students to enter degree and certificate programs at BCC. Students receive tutoring in basic writing, reading and mathematics, as well as seminars on such topics as study skills, employment prospects and applying for financial aid. Students receive "one-on-one" advising and assistance throughout the program to ensure it fulfills their individual educational needs. 

Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center - Main Campus

The Ralph Hoffmann Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy Center is the focal point for environmental programs and activities. Built in 1976 and renovated in 2012, the Center houses a lecture room, laboratories, seminar areas, student lounge, and several work areas.

The primary responsibility of the Registrar’s Office is to maintain official academic records for each past and present BCC student, transcript requests, registration, drop/add courses and graduation applications.  Robert M. Boland Theatre - MC - Room K-110 - Koussevitzky Arts Center - 1st floor
The Robert Boland Theatre is one of the largest stage houses in western Massachusetts. This comfortable house, with a seating capacity of 503, boasts outstanding acoustics and perfect viewing from every seat. The playing area is adaptable for proscenium, thrust or arena staging, and the stage is fully rigged with a 64-foot grid, a 39-line counterweight system, and a computer light board.


The Theatre Arts concentration of BCC’s Fine and Performing Arts program produces three main-stage productions each year; theatre majors and other students participate. In addition to BCC and community theatre productions, the facility hosts numerous concerts, dance performances, and other special events each year.

The office of Service Learning initiates and facilitates community-based opportunities for BCC students related to their program of study. Students involved in service learning spend a set number of hours working in community organizations while earning course credit.  -  Contact: 413-236-2175 

South County Center - 343 Main St. Great Barrington, MA

The South County Center serves new, returning, and prospective BCC students. The staff at the Center also provides admission assistance, advising, registration, student payment services, and communication with student services on the main campus. Skills assessment is administered at the Center during specially scheduled sessions. Additional services offered on main campus are usually available by appointment at the South County Center. The office of Student Life is the center of student activity at BCC. The office helps to plan and administer a wealth of opportunities for social, cultural, recreational, as well as personal enjoyment and enrichment. The Student Lounge provides an atmosphere that encourages full enjoyment of the social aspects of college life, and is the central meeting place for students and their friends. The Student Success Center is committed to helping students achieve academic success. Students are encouraged to visit the center either on a walk-in basis or as a referral from an instructor. The Susan B. Anthony Center houses the following offices and services: College Store, Cafeteria/Food Services, Immunization Records & Allied Health Medical Records Office, Norman Rockwell Early Childhood Center, Student Life Office, Student Development Center, Student Lounge, Food Pantry, and the Writing Center.

Swimming Pool - MC - Paterson Field House (east)

Certified lifeguard always on duty. The pool depth goes from 3.5 to 8 feet deep and is roughly 70 feet long. The facility is handicapped accessible and lifeguards are on duty at all times. Male and female locker rooms, equipped with showers.  -  Contact: 413-236-1670 


Tennis Courts - MC - Paterson Field House (west)
The Paul E. Raverta Tennis Complex consists of three standard adult courts and two, "10 and under" tennis courts. The newly constructed courts are open to students, staff and the general public.

Transfer Services  - MC - Student Development Center - Susan B. Anthony Center Annex - upper level
The Transfer Office provides information and assistance for students planning to transfer to another college or university. The office also maintains specific transfer arrangements through the Massachusetts Transfer Compact and through articulation agreements with numerous colleges and universities. Contact: Geoff Tabor  - Hours: 8am - 4pm

The TRIO Office provides "one-on-one" support services to help eligible students develop an educational plan. Students who are accepted into the program work with the TRIO counselors and advisors to facilitate their graduation from BCC.  -  Contact: 413-236-1680  -  Hours: 8am - 4pm Mon.-Fri.

Tutorial Center - MC - Room K-214 - Koussevitzky Arts Center - 2nd floor 

Tutorial Services provides free tutoring for currently enrolled students for most BCC credit classes. Tutors meet with students one-to-one, in small groups, and in drop-in help sessions. Most Tutors are BCC students, or Peer Tutors, who are recommended by faculty of an individual course or field of study. Many are also Community Tutors with expertise in a variety of areas. Students may request a tutor at the Tutorial Center on the BCC Main Campus or South County Center in Great Barrington. Drop-in Help Centers are also available for Math and Writing. BCC is committed to assisting our military families. The BCC Veteran's Center assists veterans with accessing their educational benefits, apply to BCC, explore eligibility for tuition waivers & reimburse and scholarships as well as transfer credit for military experience and learning out our BCC Student Veteran Alliance Club whose primary goal is to generate a campus-wide culture that embraces the leadership, discipline, and high standards veterans bring to our campus.  Also, to further educate faculty and staff about the issues that veterans deal with coming to school.   -  Contact: John Herrera Admissions Office - 413 - 236-1634

The Writing Center is free to all BCC students, and is staffed by peer and community tutors ready to help you with papers and any other writing. The Writing Center offers appointments and drop-in hours.
