Receive a FREE Laptop with BCC Medical Course
Feb 14, 2012

Anyone interested in training at home for a new medical career and receiving a FREE laptop, is invited to register for the following on-line course offered through Berkshire Community College (BCC). The deadline for the promotion is Saturday, March 31.

"Medical Transcription Editor" (WKS 6720) helps students develop the knowledge and skills of quality medical transcriptionists in addition to the specialized skill set of medical transcription editors. The demand for well-trained medical transcription editors is rapidly increasing, and this program prepares students for both career paths, making them more flexible after graduation. Within the program, students focus on keyboarding, medical terminology, language and grammar, and the editing skills required to work with speech recognition technology. The program also emphasizes practical experience, and by graduation, students will have transcribed hundreds of authentic dictations, preparing for a quick and successful transition to the workplace. No senior discounts.

For more information, or to register, call the Office of Community Education & Workforce Development at 413-236-2127.
