Admissions Office (First Flr., Rm. F-114) The Admissions Office provides information about BCC to prospective students and helps guide them throughout the admissions process and beyond.
The staff also evaluate any external credits obtained from other institutions, exams, or prior life experience. As an entering first-year student, you may have questions about academics, financial aid, making friends, getting involved, and finding important resources. We encourage you to be in contact with your admission counselor throughout the application and enrollment process.
We ask you to become an active participant in the process, as it will involve a number of offices and paperwork. The Admissions Process Checklist will help get you organized and give you the critical information that you need to know.
As you begin course work at Berkshire Community College you will soon find that your classroom experiences differ greatly from what you were accustomed to in high school. Resources you may find useful are listed in the menu to your left.
Note on Readmission to the College:
Students who have previously attended BCC and are returning after a lapse of one semester or more must apply for readmission to the college.
Students who withdraw from the college, graduate from a program, change from degree to non-degree status, or are otherwise not in continual attendance (i.e., miss a spring or fall semester), must apply for readmission to the college. Such changes may affect program requirements. Most students who miss a single semester will be readmitted under their prior program requirements. All other students are readmitted under the requirements currently in effect. Students must consult the Admissions Office about readmission procedures.
