March 11:

Children’s Afghan Songbook Project.

Lesley University Associate Professor, Louise Pascale will discuss her Children’s Afghan Songbook Project. The project strives to preserve traditional Afghan children’s songs and return them to the children of Afghanistan.

March 13:
 Soap Bubbles and Mathematics.

Beautiful and perplexing: Frank Morgan talks about the science behind the bubble. With demonstrations, explanations, and prizes.

Oral health career forum


April 1:
A View from the Inside.

A panel of BCC students will describe what it is like to have a disability and how to compensate for it. Students will also discuss disability etiquette - the do’s and don’ts of interacting with people with disabilities.

April 3:
“From One Second to the Next”.

Directed by Werner Herzog, this film looks at how four lives have been impacted by texting-related accidents. A panel discussion will follow.

April 8:
Sexual Assault Myths and Realities

Learn about the myths and realities of sexual assault. The Elizabeth Freeman Center will discuss how sexual assault affects each of us and what we can do to break this cycle. Both video and discussion will be utilized.

April 10:
Writers’ talk

BCC professor Julianna Spallholz leads a literary panel discussion.
