Who Can Use the Fitness Center?
Students, faculty and staff can use the Center. Berkshire County residents who are not students, faculty or staff can also use the center by registering as a noncredit student in Workshop 8000 (please see the Building Supervisor at the front desk or call (413) 236-1670 for details).
All new members must complete the registration and waiver forms and return them to the front desk on their initial visit. Students will also need to bring their Student ID.
What Does the Fitness Center Offer?
Indoors: (full equipment list)
- A full range of strength-training machines (guidelines)
- Free weights
- 40 cardio equipment pieces
- Designated areas for flexibility training
- Basketball courts [available when classes are not in session - a class schedule is posted in the front office - collateral is needed in exchange for basketball(s)].
Outdoors (offered via Paterson Field House):
- Several soccer fields
- A nature walking trail (next to the Ralph Hoffman Environment Center)
- Cross country trails for running

- The week between Christmas and New Year's
- Anytime the college is closed (i.e. due to inclement weather).

Where Can I Park?
Parking is available adjacent to the Field House.
Handicap spaces are clearly marked in front of the handicap access door.
