Safe Sitter Training

Safe Sitter is a highly structured babysitting preparation course designed for young teens from ages 11-16. Teaching methodology includes hands-on manikin practice, small group interactive learning, role-playing, and games. Each participant must pass a written and practical exam proving mastery of key concepts. Instruction includes care of choking infant/child; infant and child CPR; injury prevention and injury management; safety for the sitter; child care essentials; behavior management and babysitting as a business. Space is limited so register early.

Scuba Explorers Program - NEW

An Open Water Diver Certification prep program; perfect for the underwater enthusiast! Welcome to the nuts-and-bolts of Scuba Program. You'll begin your underwater journey learning about equipment, diver safety, the pressures that affect us underwater, and how to plan a dive with your buddy. The underwater adventure continues with Scuba skills, including learning how to clear water out of your mask without having to come to the surface and so much more! This program includes a Home-Study 'Kit' (divers choose between learning via a book or online) and Scuba-quality mask, snorkel, and fins for them to keep. Not included: open water dive fees; which can be completed during a planned vacation or locally in the Spring/Summer/Fall 2015.

In collaboration with Berkshire School of Etiquette. People develop an opinion in the first seven seconds when meeting someone. The key to your success is making a favorable first impression! Develop successful job and college interview skills. Learn how to be prepared for the interview, the first four words you say when meeting a prospective employer, questions to ask the employer, proper attire, rules of introductions, importance of eye contact, why you must have a one-minute speech, business lunch techniques, and proper follow-up.
