Building Berkshire's Turf

Save Our Turf Field!

A Dedicated Community

The Community Turf Field at Berkshire Community College has been in development for over four years led by a dedicated group of volunteers.

We've successfully raised $1.8 million from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, grants, and other private and community groups but, we still need to raise $600,000 more.

Athletes deserve a state-of-the-art athletic turf field.

Why?

You Deserve It

Athletes - young and old, community members, residents, former residents and visitors to the Berkshires agree, the County needs—no, deserves—a state-of-the-art athletic turf field.

Protecting the Vernal Pools and Wetlands

Conservation

Through the Community Turf Field project, we are committed to enhancing and protecting the nearby wetlands surrounding BCC’s athletic fields.

These improvements will allow for better drainage and the redirection of runoff to the vernal pools and wetlands.
