Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Advisory Committee

What is the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM) Advisory Committee?

The SAEM Advisory Committee is a committee of students who will work directly with the Vice President of SAEM to make sure the college is fully considering the student voice in decisions that are made that affect students, including how we deploy resources to positively impact students success and equity, and to positively impact the community.

In this forum the Vice President will bring questions to the group for their feedback and also ask that members bring student issues forward that the Administration may be unaware of.

Who is the Vice President of SAEM?

Adam Klepetar is the Vice President of SAEM, overseeing student recruitment, retention, and student success, right through to commencement, transfer, new careers and more.

Prior to joining BCC, Klepetar served in various roles for more than a decade at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn. He was interim assistant provost at St. Cloud State University's University College. He previously was director of the institution's First Year and Transition Programs. His experience also includes work as an instructor as well as leadership roles in the Office of Admissions, the Office of Records and Registration and placement testing.

Committee Structure

The group will be made up of roughly 12 students who represent the full student body of BCC. We will meet twice a semester and lunch will be provided each time we meet (if virtually we will provide gift cards for lunch on your own). Meetings will last an hour and will be discussion based.
