BCC has various clubs and organizations are active on campus. Each has a faculty or
staff advisor. For more information or to organize a new club, inquire at the office
of Student Engagement to pick up a club/organization packet to begin the formal process.

Ascend Business Club
Ascend Business Club is a dynamic space for students interested in business, entrepreneurship,
and leadership to connect, collaborate, and grow. Whether you're exploring business
for the first time or already building your career, Ascend offers opportunities to
network, develop professional skills, and engage in real-world projects. For more

Bodybuilding and Strengthening Club
This is a student-run group designed for anyone interested in learning how to lift
for progress. Together we’ll cover proper lifting techniques, training programs for
growth, nutrition and diet tips, and even posing practice for those interested in

Chorale
The BCC Chorale is open to students, alumni, staff and community members. No fees,
no credit, just the joy of singing together! Join a campus tradition of music and
harmony. The Chorale meets on Thursdays, 2 to 3 p.m in Room K111. For more information,

Club Sports are competitive sports teams that practice weekly and compete against
other colleges. Club Sports are a fun way to stay involved in the sports you love
and meet other students who love them too.

Criminal Justice Club
The Criminal Justice Club provides meetings and guest presentations allowing students
to interact with each other and outside criminal justice professionals. For more information,

Dungeons and Dragons Club
BCC'S D&D Club promotes a fun and inviting environment for students who are new to
or may be interested in learning D&D and don't know where to go. We invite other players
who have experience to attend and lend their help to those learning. If you are new

Fiber Arts Club
The BCC Fiber Arts Club is a weekly, 30-minute interest group where members can bring
their current fiber arts project to work on, ask other club members for help, and

Human Services Club
The Human Services Club is a dedicated group of BCC students, staff and faculty who
seek to make a positive difference for our campus and community. We typically meet
every other Thursday face to face, but a virtual link is available. For more information,
contact a club facilitator: Kari Dupuis, Meghan Donnelly, Katrina Brown or Kathryn Lally.
Latino Heritage Club (LHC)
The LHC is a student organization dedicated to promoting cultural humility and leadership,
with appreciation for Latin American cultures. It's a welcoming space for all students,
regardless of their ethnic background or heritage, who are interested in learning
about and celebrating Latin American cultures through social and educational events,
club meetings and programs.

Native American Awareness Club
Learn about Native American customs, history, food and culture, including cooking

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Club
The PTA Club provides PTA and pre-PTA students with opportunities to explore the profession,
connect with peers, and grow as future healthcare professionals. Through community
outreach, service projects, and professional development activities, members gain
valuable experiences that support both their education and their role in promoting

PTK is an international honor society for two-year colleges that recognizes scholarships

Queer Student Association (QSA)
The QSA at Berkshire Community College is committed to providing a safe space for
members of the BCC LGBTQ+ community. It is a judgement-free zone for any student in
need of support regarding their sexual orientation or identity.

Respiratory Care Club
Learn from each other, apply your knowledge and work with fellow club members on a
variety of tasks, including planning events and organizing fundraisers. Get involved
with both the College community and the local Respiratory Care community. Network

Ski and Snowboard Club
BCC's Ski and Snowboard Club allows students to ski and shred together while developing

Student Government Association (SGA)
The BCC SGA is the legislative, representative, and investigative body of the College's
student population. Members are currently enrolled students elected each spring in
college-wide elections. Candidates must have a 2.00 or higher GPA.

Student Nurse Organization (SNO)
The SNO provides an environment for nursing students to meet and network with peers.
Fundraising activities are planned by students and proceeds support educational programs,
pinning ceremony for graduates, community outreach, and scholarship for a graduating
student pursuing baccalaureate degree while completing credits at BCC.

Students for Recovery Organization
Are you in recovery or interested in exploring recovery from any substance, behavior,
pattern or relationship that causes suffering in your life? We hold a supportive,
safe space for students on recovery journeys and their allies. We hold community meetings
on Tuesdays, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. and Wednesdays, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in M303.

The Land Stewards Club
The Land Stewards Club helps people connect with the land through learning, caring
for nature, and understanding local culture. We honor the Stockbridge-Munsee Band
of Mohicans as the first stewards of the unceded land now called Berkshire County.
We also encourage everyone living here today to take part in sustainable land practices.

Zine
Zine is an annual print journal featuring the writing, visual art and photography of the
BCC community. It provides the campus with an opportunity to champion our students'
voices and for students (and other community members), experience the editing and

MassPIRG
Occasionally BCC has some presence in independent organizations.
MassPIRG is a statewide, student-directed, non-partisan, and non-profit organization.
