Jumpstart Workshops are a series of four three-hour workshops designed to help you tune up your math skills and prepare you to re-take the Accuplacer test.
The Jumpstart Workshops employ a computer program that can detect specific gaps in your understanding of mathematical concepts and prescribe a focused study plan. The program is provided free of charge with enrollment.
The workshops provide an opportunity to work with a BCC math instructor who will answer questions about the material and provide information about College resources to help you in your first year at BCC.
Jumpstart also assists in detecting specific gaps in your understanding of mathematical concepts and determines a focused study plan.

A Jumpstart Workshop is required for all students who place into MAT-011 or MAT-018.
