    Your Safety is our Priority

Berkshire Community College (BCC) seeks to provide a safe employment experience for BCC stakeholders. As such, Career Development Center (CDC) staff, in partnership with Academic Affairs, Alumni Relations, Institutional Development, and Workforce Development, analyze employer backgrounds to reduce risk of unsafe exposure. Likewise, the BCC and the CDC make no guarantees of employment relative to the positions listed, referred, coordinated, or posted by or for CDC and/or approved employers.

Experiential Learning/Internship Risk and Safety Commitment

The CDC is not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions, or any other aspect of internships, externships, volunteer work and/or employment obtained or sought through the services of the CDC at BCC. The CDC will work with the job seeker to explore potential risks associated with the aforementioned experiential learning opportunities.

The CDC will not negotiate on behalf of any job seeker engaged in a compensation discussion with a potential employer.

The CDC will work with students to research the safety and integrity of organizations and/or employers found by the student as outside of the resources provided by the CDC.

  • Fraudulent Job Posting Policy
    Report Suspicions Postings

The Career Development Center is intent on protecting job seekers using CCN or other CDC resources from the increase in employment opportunities scams.
