Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training

Truck drivers are in demand. Based on an American Trucking Association survey, more than 400,000 new truck drivers are needed every year. Let the professional instructors at United Tractor Trailer School, Inc. train you for your career as a Class B Commercial Driver. Eligibility requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Massachusetts resident
  • Valid driver's license
  • Students must have both their Learner's Permit and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical prior to class start date

2026 Schedule

CDL Class B Driver Training

  • March 16 – 20, 2026, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Cost: $3,600
  • Classroom instruction: BCC Main Campus
  • Driving instruction: Former Berkshire Mall, Lanesborough, MA
  • The training will consist of a total of 40 hours of classroom, field and on-the-road instruction
  • Grant scholarships are available for those who qualify; Self-pay option is also available to those not covered through scholarship funding

Free CDL Permit and Readiness Test Prep

Registration is full.

  • Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
  • BCC Main Campus
  • DOT physicals will also be available on-site at BCC for those interested
  • DOT Physical Fee: $90 (paid by the student)
