Members of the Berkshire Community College (BCC) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program presented the New England PTA Consortium Clinical Faculty Award to physical therapist Connie Jansen, Clinical Coordinator of the Bronson Rehabilitation Unit at Baystate Noble Hospital, on April 7, 2022.

Presenting the award from BCC were PTA Program Director Michele Darroch and Clinical Education Coordinator Judy Gawron. Bronson Rehabilitation staff, including Program Director Ian Braithwaite, PTA, were in attendance for the recognition.

Throughout her 20 years with the Bronson, Connie has helped more than 50 students into successful careers as therapists. This includes uninterrupted clinical instruction throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Connie’s joy is in translating the book knowledge and lab skills students bring from the classroom into real life experiences with patients. She is recognized for her commitment in providing high quality PTA student clinical education and excellence in promoting student achievement.”
