PITTSFIELD, MA — Berkshire Community College (BCC) has named Jeremiah Reagan as the
College's 2026 Valedictorian. Reagan will deliver the student address during BCC's
66th Commencement Exercises, which will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Tanglewood.
Reagan, a graduate of BCC's Nursing program, was selected for the honor in recognition of his outstanding academic achievement,
leadership, and dedication throughout his time at the College. A resident of Savoy,
Reagan began his educational journey at BCC in 2022 after earning his high school
equivalency diploma.
Jeremiah embodies the perseverance, compassion, and commitment to excellence that
define Berkshire Community College students. His story is one of embracing challenges
as an opportunity to grow, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate his accomplishments
as this year's valedictorian.
Laurie Gordy, Vice President of Academic Affairs
During his time at BCC, Reagan distinguished himself both academically and clinically
in the College's rigorous Nursing program. In addition to excelling in the classroom,
he worked at Berkshire Medical Center while completing his studies. Following graduation,
Reagan plans to continue his education through an accelerated bachelor's and master's
nursing program focused on nursing education.
"I never would have imagined when I first arrived at BCC that I would one day be named
valedictorian," Reagan said. "BCC challenged me to grow in ways I never expected,
and I'm grateful for the faculty, classmates, friends, and family members who supported
me throughout this journey."
The keynote address at Commencement will be delivered by Lori Moon, outgoing Dean of Nursing, Health
and Wellness at BCC. Moon, who has served the College and its students for many years,
will address graduates, families, faculty, and community members during the ceremony.
BCC's 66th Commencement Exercises will celebrate the achievements of the Class of
2026 and recognize graduates from across the College's academic programs. Visit our
